Shanghai’s Sheshan Happy Valley Amusement Park
Think Shanghai’s JinJiang Amusement Park is expensive and crappy? Want to be amused with thrill rides and cotton candy? Or rides and games for the kids? The wait for Disneyland to be built taking too long?
About an hour’s journey on Line 9 from downtown Shanghai lies Sheshan Happy Valley Amusement Park (欢乐谷), where you can play the day away.
Despite the bad rep the park built during its opening months, safety procedures are now firmly in place. Spend a day at Sheshan Happy Valley Amusement Park taking stomach-turning, gravity-defying thrill rides and more.
Food may be a problem during peak periods, as a visit on May 2nd proved. KFC ran out of food and only resumed operations half an hour later, only to face a blackout problem.
