    Came back from Shanghai a couple of weeks ago. Went to Carrefour there. Was amused by the steel sink outside of the store for shoppers to wash hands, perhaps avoid influenza. Similar in Japan, but sinks are inside, modern, kept tidy. Soap, alcohol dispenser, and often paper towels or electric air hand dryer. To see a stand-alone sink outside of the store all on it’s lil’ lonesome was a bit of a shock, juxtaposition.
